Leading international tire manufacturer Continental is an official sponsor of UEFA EURO 2016™ in France and during football’s event of the year, the company will again be providing a free photo service for professional journalists on image.net.
“We will be offering this service from Getty Images for a total of eight games – five from the group stage and three knock-out matches,” explained Alexander Bahlmann, Head of Communications Passenger and Light Truck Tires at Continental. “Of course the focus will again be on scenes showing some of Europe’s most popular footballers in action. In our selection of matches we are aiming to cover as many of the top title contenders as possible,” said Bahlmann.

The tire manufacturer will be providing editorial coverage of UEFA EURO 2016™ on its own football website www.ContiSoccerWorld.de. The site went live again in March 2016 with an all-new responsive design and navigation concept. Since then it has been providing entertaining match analyses, insightful background reports and interviews themed around all of Continental’s major football sponsorship commitments. At international level these include not only UEFA EURO 2016™ but also Major League Soccer in the USA and Canada, as well as the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, which will be staged in the United Arab Emirates.
