Jürgen Marth
Effective April 1, 2016, Jürgen Marth (47) took charge for the ContiTrade operations in the EMEA region at Continental. ContiTrade is the umbrella organization for the entire tire retail business of the Continental Tire Division in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with more than 2,000 outlets and over 6,000 employees. In this role, Marth now reports to the Head of Passenger Tire Replacement Business EMEA, Christian Koetz (46). The previous Head of ContiTrade, Andreas Gerstenberger (51), moved to join the ContiTech Division of Continental at the end of 2015, where he has since been responsible for the Industrial Fluid Systems Business Unit.
Effective September 1, Lars Fahrenbach (50) will take over as Head of the DACH region at ContiTrade and of the German tire retail subsidiary Vergölst GmbH with approximately 450 branches. In this role, he will report directly to Jürgen Marth.

All three of the above managers have held a variety of sales and marketing management positions with Continental for more than 20 years. Marth had been responsible for management of Continental’s tire retail subsidiary Vergölst since 2010, prior to which he held management positions including Head of Regional Sales Passenger Tire Replacement Business Germany and at the globally active Two-Wheel Tires Business Unit. Fahrenbach was appointed Head of Sales for the Central and Eastern Europe region in 2008. Before that, for several years he was responsible for the fields of Marketing Passenger Tire Replacement Business EMEA and Sales Replacement Business Germany.
